Khalid bin Abdullah: Launching “Aqari” as an innovative service reflects the foundations of governance on which government work in integration and planning is based

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, has delegated Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, to launch the Real Estate Information Bank platform “Aqari”, the platform emerging from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority’s electronic services, This took place in a ceremony held this morning in the presence of Sheikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and a number of ministers, officials, and heads of real estate development companies.

On this occasion, Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa stressed that the launch of “Aqari” as a platform that provides all real estate information to all dealers in the real estate sector, embodies the Kingdom of Bahrain’s interest in developing systems and adopting modern technologies and artificial intelligence in line with the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Excellency His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, contributes to employing digital development to improve the quality and efficiency of government services.

He explained that the launch of the “Aqari” platform today as an innovative service reflects the foundations of good governance on which government work is based and is based on its components such as enhancing integration between government agencies and strategic planning, especially since this platform comes as part of the efforts of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority in the process of digital transformation. In parallel with achieving the goals of the National Real Estate Sector Plan (2021-2024) towards a sustainable real estate sector and a positive engine for other economic sectors.

He pointed out that keeping pace with the developments taking place in the real estate sector, so that it is always compatible with the standards of international best practices, requires continuing to work on modernization and development with the aim of improving this sector, as it is one of the most important and most vital sectors that contribute to the national economy and the non-oil gross domestic product, in addition to integrating Advanced technologies and employing their advantages and characteristics to serve customers and facilitate their experience in accordance with the principles of disclosure, clarity and transparency that enhance their confidence, enable them to make sound decisions based on realistic and accurate facts, and provide a sustainable environment that encourages local and foreign investment with all flexibility.

He saluted the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Board of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, and those in charge of “Aqari” for their efforts in completing this project, which is a reliable national and central source for real estate information, wishing the users of the platform and all dealers in the sector success and continued success that consolidates the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as an environmentally friendly environment. Attractive and safe for real estate investment supported by legislative and administrative guarantees.

For his part, Sheikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for His Highness’s sponsorship of the launching ceremony of the Real Estate Information Bank platform “Aqari”. He added that the platform is the first of its kind, and was created to meet the needs of customers in this sector and provide information with complete transparency and accuracy, in a way that improves the success rate of real estate projects, knowing the grades and levels, developing their financial returns, and reducing the level of risks in them. This platform will certainly contribute to achieving Successes of real estate projects that achieve growth in the real estate sector to contribute more to the total output of the Bahraini economy.

For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, pointed out that the Real Estate Information Bank platform “Aqari” provides a distinctive real estate experience that enhances the level the real estate sector has reached thanks to the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Excellency pointed out the importance of the project in creating an integrated environment for real estate data between 12 government agencies in a unified digital platform that aims to create a central, reliable national source for real estate information, which contributes to the development of real estate technology in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as the information bank is considered the primary destination for all real estate dealers with full transparency. To make sound decisions to develop the investment environment for innovative projects and enhance the efficiency of real estate professionals, noting that artificial intelligence has been employed to provide the best and accurate real estate digital experience in conjunction with modern technological development.

His Excellency the CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority made a presentation during the launch ceremony of the “Aqari” platform about the various services that the platform will provide and its importance in providing those interested in the real estate sector with all the information they need. After that, His Excellency and those in charge of the platform greeted the Deputy Prime Minister.

It is worth noting that the Real Estate Information Bank (Aqari) platform provides users with a detailed display experience for all real estate information to be obtained, such as real estate deals, building permits, and displaying built and unbuilt properties. It also provides comprehensive information about off-plan sales projects, classes, vacant and unvacant apartments, Areas owned by non-Bahrainis and other information.
